Brommageriatriken

Brommageriatriken is a clinic commissioned by the Stockholm county council to be responsible for the acute geriatric healthcare for the inhabitants of the western suburbs of Stockholm as well as the Mälaröarna islands.

Older patients who require medical treatment and rehabilitation contact Brommageriatriken with referrals issued by their family physician or from an emergency hospital. A geriatric hospital enjoys specific expertise and knowledge regarding taking care of patients suffering from multiple diseases as well as functional impairments.

Brommageriatriken also conducts a unit for advanced home care (ASIH) and a memory unit for complete dementia investigations.
